Professional alloy wheel repair and diamond cut refurbishment
Our technicians can cosmetically refurbish alloy and diamond cut wheels that have suffered kerbing, scratches, scrapes, facial damage or even make a full colour change.
The term alloy wheel refurbishment is used to cover several different wheel transformation processes.
Small repairs or ‘smart’ repairs are a localised repair to a small area of damage to the wheel finish. Although the damage will disappear completely with this method, it can be more cost effective to simply powder coat or re-face the whole wheel with a diamond cut.
Powder coating is the refurbishment of the whole wheel.
This process is extremely durable and looks amazing, it can be used for total colour changes or to colour match a wheel to its original finish. The entire wheel will be refurbished using specialist ovens and equipment to remove old coatings.
Then there is the refurbishment of a diamond cut wheel which is the same as the powder coated wheel refurbishment described above but with the addition of a diamond cutting lathe process, which removes a thin layer of the wheel face to achieve the diamond cut wheel finish.
