How to care for your wrapped vehicles
Vinyl wraps can offer your business a plethora of advertising potential for one low price. They can even protect the integrity of your vehicle’s paint job by preventing fading and staining.
However, you still have a responsibility to care for your vinyl-wrapped vehicles. Then you can be sure the vibrant colours of the wrap designs will stay intact for a long time to come. Here are some tips on how to care for your wrapped vehicles…
Handwashing is Better
The best piece of advice is to handwash your wrapped vehicles. Don’t attempt to use a drive-through car wash because their brushes will be too aggressive against the vinyl material. No pressure washing either.
Use a bucket of warm water mixed with a mild detergent formulated for automobiles. Dip a microfibre cloth into the liquid solution and use it to hand wash your wraps. Make simple wiping gestures without applying too much pressure.
Wash Once Per Week
You don’t need to wash your wrapped vehicles every day unless you operate your vehicle in a dirty environment.
Washing your wrapped vehicles once per week should be good enough.
Park Your Wrapped Vehicles Indoors
Don’t park your wrapped vehicles outside for extended periods. If you want to reduce their exposure to debris, smog, rain, pollutants, and other outdoor elements, then park your wrapped vehicles inside if you have indoor space available.
A garage is the best place to park your wrapped vehicles. But if you don’t have enough garage space, you could park your vehicles underneath a canopy instead.

What our customers say
Boss Dog have now fitted livery to the vans at all three of our Southern Depots. Throughout the job I have found them happy to advise, efficient and above all professional in their approach. My only regret is that they don't have a branch in the North to service the other half of our fleet.I look forward to using them again as more vehicles come online.
