Top tips for vehicle branding
Vinyl wrapping is the perfect solution for vehicle branding. It allows you to print a creative and original design and promote it on the outside of your vehicle for the world to see. But, most importantly, it establishes your brand’s identity.
Below are the top 4 tips for vehicle branding to help you get started.
1) Look at Your Competition
Do your local competitors use vehicle branding? Look at their vehicle wrap designs to draw inspiration from them. It doesn’t mean you should copy their designs, but they can give you ideas on how to create your own design.
2) Consider Partial Wraps
You may see some commercial vehicles covered with full vinyl wraps containing colourful graphics and signwriting. However, sometimes it is better to take a more straightforward approach to your vehicle branding by using partial wraps.
For instance, you could put your company’s name and logo on your vehicle’s side doors to make your brand stand out. People won’t be distracted by lots of vibrant graphics and colours. Instead, the brand name is what they will focus on the most.
3) Use a Few Words in Big Font
People will only get a few seconds to see your vehicle wrap design, so you have to convey a powerful message in as few words as possible. Make sure you display the words in a large font to make them noticeable to people farther away in traffic.
4) Original Visual Elements
Whenever you put colours, graphics, logos, or illustrations on your vehicle wrap design, they must be original. Otherwise, people might confuse your brand with another company’s brand.
Choose a unique colour scheme and logo for your brand. Hire an artist to create original graphics and illustrations.
