Van Wrap Design: Simple or Complex?
A van wrap design can be simple or complex. The choice should depend on your brand and the particular message you want to send to people.
There are some cases where a complex van wrap design might be appropriate. For example, let’s say you own a photography studio and wish to showcase your photographic body of work on your van wrap. You could have your digital HD photos printed onto the vinyl film before it gets applied to your van. That way, your van will be covered in photos that reflect your photography skills.
Alternatively, there are many cases where a simple van wrap design would be more appropriate. Sometimes all you need to do is showcase your brand name, logo, and colour scheme simply and straightforwardly. After all, the brand is what you’ll want people to remember the most about your company. All the other messaging and graphics are irrelevant in comparison.
A simple van wrap design is cheaper and effective. In fact, it is much easier for a professional wrap design team to print a simple design onto a wrap and fit it on your van. If you chose a complex design, many more considerations would have to be made because of all the doors, windows, door handles, bumpers, mirrors, and curves on the van. These areas might interfere with the complexity of a detailed design.
Therefore, it is best to play it safe and start with a simple wrap design. You can always experiment later with more elaborate design ideas. Remember, all van wrap designs are digitally created on the computer before they get printed onto the wrap. That way, it’s virtually impossible to end up with an unwanted outcome.
What our customers say
Boss Dog have now fitted livery to the vans at all three of our Southern Depots. Throughout the job I have found them happy to advise, efficient and above all professional in their approach. My only regret is that they don't have a branch in the North to service the other half of our fleet.I look forward to using them again as more vehicles come online.
