What Car Parts Can Be Wrapped
Most car parts on the exterior of your vehicle can be wrapped in vinyl film. The entire paint job is the most obvious area that can get wrapped. Wherever you see the paint colour of your vehicle, it can have vinyl wrapping applied to it with vibrant and colourful graphics.
You can also wrap the grilles as well. Grilles are the screened and grated areas of your vehicle which look like a bunch of wires or metal bars. You usually see them on the front of your vehicle underneath the headlights, but you may see them in other areas of your vehicle as well. You can apply a vinyl wrap to grilles, bumper skirt grilles, radiator grilles, bonnet grilles, boot grilles, and roof grilles.
We also tend to de-chrome grills to a variety of different colours to give them a modern look & feel. Of course, you can choose whatever colour and finish you want for your grille wraps. That is the fun of choosing vinyl wraps for your vehicle. If your vehicle has a rear diffuser, front splitter, or rear spoiler, then you can wrap those parts as well. These parts are more commonly found on high-end vehicles.
However, you cannot apply vinyl wrapping to the air vents that are below your windshield. There needs to be a direct path for air to enter the ventilation system in order to bring air to the interior passenger cabin. Obviously, covering the air vents with vinyl wrapping would prevent air from getting through to the cabin. So, you need to be careful of that.
As for the windows, windshield, and lights, you cannot apply wrapping to these parts. You could decide to apply a transparent protective wrap to these parts to preserve their integrity and prevent scratches and minor damage to them.
Hopefully, you have a clear idea of what you can and cannot wrap on your vehicle.
