Will a wrap hide any dings or dents on my van?

It can be annoying to have dents, dings, scuffs, and other marks on the exterior of your van. If you’re trying to convey a professional appearance to your target audience, it won’t help to have these visible markings present on your vehicle.

So what is the solution? Many people believe that vinyl film wraps can hide the exterior flaws on their vans. Unfortunately, this belief is not valid because wraps don’t actually hide dents, dings, and other physical flaws.

    Understanding Van Wraps

Van wraps consist of ultra-thin vinyl film material. When the film gets applied to a van, it follows every bump, groove, indentation, and contour already there. The film is installed in this manner to avoid bubbles, creases, and tears from forming in it. So even though the film is technically covering the flaws, it does not shield them from sight.

That is why all the van wraps you see look like they were painted onto the vehicles instead of merely covering the vehicles like a sticker. It creates a more authentic appearance that captures people’s attention.

Unfortunately, preexisting dents and dings are still going to be visible. The only difference is that those flaws will have a different colour design than before. So if you have dents and dings in your van, our best advice is to fix all these imperfections before applying a vinyl wrap.

When you request van wrap services, the current condition of your van’s exterior should be flawless. If it is not, then take care of those flaws before hiring a van wrap service.
